RSE was formed in 2004 and specializes in providing portable mobile television and DVD systems for the automotive and leisure markets.  RSE is owned by Daryl and Sue Muir.  Daryl is an automotive electrical engineer (Advanced Certified) and Sue has a background in business administration and customer service.  RSE was formed when we sold our company in Japan where we had been for 7 years checking odometers on Japanese export vehicles coming to NZ, Australia, England and Africa, the first company to do this in Japan and NZ.

We are the NZ distributors of the Next Base Portable DVD Range of products for in-car entertainment.

Also for the motorhome/caravan and marine leisure market RSE produces its own range of lightweight, low wattage, 12V DVB-T and DVB-S (Satellite) TVs that can be used in conjunction with our range of satellite antenna systems.

We are also NZ's exclusive distributors for the German designed and manufactured SamY and SamYSolar+.

We supply a range of products from small portable DVD players through to our Multi-media systems that contain TV/DVD/USB and Card Reader capabilities, portable satellite dish kits (manual and automatic) for Freeview or SKY TV as well as in-motion TV with our phased array antenna.

Our latest waterproof TVs are ideal for the marine market or at home in the swimming pool, spa or bathroom areas and come in either mirror finish or white frame.  These products can operate in any mobile environment and a range of versatile mounting options are available (please see our accessories page under products).

RSE is proud to supply its products to many well known and respected camper and motorhome manufacturers throughout New Zealand. Our excellent service and strong technical support gives these manufacturers confidence to recommend and install our products for their customers.

'Trailite Motorhomes' are installing both RSE's 19" and 24" TVs with in-built satellite and Sky option as standard fit out in their motorhomes.  Where a larger TV is fitted as an option, Traillite choose from RSE's range of satellite receivers.

'Leisureline Caravans' choose to use both RSE's 19" and 24" satellite TVs with Sky option as their standard fit out in all of their caravan builds.  RSE also assists with their audio accessories and personalised fitouts.

'Kea Manufacturing' (Kea Campers) use RSE's 19" TV with in-built satellite and Sky as an option in their private builds.

‘Jucy Campvans’ are using the Nextbase 7" and 8.5" models in their Crib, Cruza and the new Choppa model campers throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as our 11" flip down DVD player.   Along with this their installation and mounting systems are designed and supplied by RSE in NZ.  Also Jucy are now using our 15.6" LED TV/DVD in their 2011 World Cup builds.

'Spaceship Campervans' are also equipped with the Nextbase SDV685AC 8.5" models throughout Australia and New Zealand and our 19" flip down TV/DVD.  Along with this their installation and mounting systems are designed and supplied by RSE in NZ.

Daryl's background as an automotive electrical engineer, with 38 years experience, also gives us the ability to offer experienced and friendly advice along with a full installation service in your motorhome/caravan or marine application.
